Structural Steel Repair of Texas – Project Deposit Policy

To schedule and begin any project, a deposit is required before work will commence.

Deposit Requirements

  • Projects of $5,000 or less: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work is scheduled or materials are ordered.
  • Projects exceeding $5,000: Deposit requirements and payment terms will be established on a project-specific basis. Depending on the scope of work, customer qualifications, and project requirements, payment terms may include milestone or staged payments, Net payment terms, or other mutually agreed-upon contractual arrangements.

What Your Deposit Covers
Any required deposit secures your place on our schedule and may be applied toward materials, equipment reservations, project planning, scheduling, mobilization, and reserved labor time. Deposits are credited toward the final contract amount unless otherwise specified in the agreement.

Remaining Balance

  • Projects of $5,000 or less: The remaining balance is due within seven (7) calendar days of project completion.
  • Projects exceeding $5,000: Payment schedules will be defined in the project contract and may include progress billing, milestone payments, Net payment terms, or other agreed-upon payment structures.

Cancellations

  • Projects of $5,000 or less: The required 50% deposit is non-refundable if the customer cancels the project after accepting the estimate and scheduling the work. The deposit covers administrative costs, project planning, scheduling, reserved labor time, and expenses incurred in preparation for the project.
  • Projects exceeding $5,000: Cancellation terms will be outlined in the project contract and may include reimbursement for materials, fabrication, mobilization, labor performed, and other project-related costs incurred prior to cancellation.

Structural Steel Repair of Texas is committed to providing quality workmanship, transparent communication, and flexible payment solutions that meet the needs of each client while ensuring every project is completed safely, professionally, and on schedule.
